Uri Kochavi is a senior user interface designer and information architect, with a Master’s degree in Interactive Multimedia from the Royal College of Arts, London (1996).
Uri has been working in Israel, the USA and Canada, designing interfaces for software applications while following a user-centered design methodology. Uri now works for EMC Documentum (link to http://www.documentum.com/) as a Senior Interaction Designer, in charge of the user experience and interface design for some of its web-based enterprise products. From 2000 - 2003. Uri lived and worked in New York City, doing user-interface design, information architecture and visual design for software applications, websites, intranet sites and enterprise portals for a well known UI consultancy (Aaron Marcus and Associates). Uri has developed and presented lectures and workshops about UI and web design for leading national and international clients including the Federal Reserve Bank and Tiscali (a leading ISP in Europe) as well as for international conferences, including Wireless-World 02, CHI 2001 and the 8th Annual Internet Convention, 2004 (Israel)Uri's online portfolio can be found at http://www.uri-kochavi.com
